The menu is an oyster lover’s dream come true. Diners rave about the variety and quality, with some even indulging in upwards of 70 oysters in one sitting—proof of just how addictive these delicacies are. The Happy Hour Oysters from Monday to Friday, 3 to 6 pm, are a fantastic way to sample these gems at a great value, especially early during the happy hour before crowds arrive.

Beyond oysters, Seawitch delivers a thoughtfully diverse menu including the crispy, golden Panko Oysters, the hearty French Onion Soup, and the indulgent Crab Cakes. The Charcuterie board is a perfect companion for those seeking a lighter but flavorful option. Signature sides like Truffle Fries and crisp Caesar Salad elevate the experience and complement the seafood beautifully.

What truly sets Seawitch apart is their exceptional drink selection. Their sparkling wines, such as the delicate French Goutorbe Bouillot Champagne with its peach and pear aromas, pair splendidly with the oysters. The crisp, floral Prosecco and refined Cremant Rose offer refreshing bubbles, while their curated red wines, including smooth Napa Cabernet and layered Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, deliver balance for the fuller flavors on the plate. Don’t miss their signature cocktails like the playful French Quarter Fizz, which perfectly complements the menu’s fresh seafood offerings.

Highly recommend this spot for oyster lovers or anyone looking for a high-quality seafood experience. I had a hard time picking my favorite oyster. The Nola BBQ is definitely one of favorites. Definitely give the drinks a try especially the spritz it pairs well with the oysters. I’ll definitely be back!

Some of the best oysters in the city. Their charbroiled oysters are better than any of the places near the French Quarter. Their happy hour is amazing. Suggest coming on the earlier end of happy hour as it starts to get packed towards the end. Great outdoor seating

One of the best spots for oysters—especially during their happy hour (Monday–Friday, 3–6). It’s a little off the beaten path, but one of the best tips we got in New Orleans was to just take transit everywhere. The cable cars were amazing, and while sightseeing on one, we stumbled across this restaurant. We ended up eating 72 oysters in one sitting. Their étouffée oyster was incredible, the garlic butter ones were perfect, and the other four dozen we downed raw—fresh, cold, and delicious. The drinks were a little pricey, but they were really tasty. The staff was fantastic. The oyster shucker actually recognized us from the cable car the day before and welcomed us with, “Hey, I was on the trolley with you!” That was such a fun touch. Our waiter was also wonderful—super kind and even gave us local tips (though sadly we were leaving the next day and couldn’t use them). Overall: amazing oysters, great staff, and a really memorable experience. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a date night on a Saturday night. It was busy but not overcrowded. We did make a reservation for 7pm, arrived on time and were immediately seated and served. The food was top notch. The service was great. We will definitely be back!!

My wife and I chose Seawitch for our first anniversary dinner. We made a reservation for 6 PM and arrived on-time and were promptly seated. Out server was a very nice gentleman and answered all of our questions regarding food and drink. My wife went with the Prosecco and oysters to start. I chose a gumbo and Woodford Reserve. The oysters were perfectly chilled and plump. My gumbo had a perfect dark roux color and was perfectly flavored. My wife then ordered the Redfish entree while I went with the scallops. The Redfish was so delicious. My wife and I loved it. The scallops were perfectly cooked with a lovely sear outside and a perfect cook inside. They were massive scallops so we shared. Too full for desert but happily replete, we wrapped up the evening and now have a lovely memory of our first anniversary and will always come back to Seawitch. The restaurant is located right on St. Charles so you can get there easily by Uber, car, or trolly. The building is very well kept and we had a great seat on the upstairs balcony overlooking the avenue. We really couldn't have asked for more. The service is top notch and my wife and I will always sing the establishment's praises. Weird addendum.... The musical list was very smooth and great for the overall experience. My compliments to the DJ that put together the set list
